Charles Elzinga Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2025, at the age of 94, Charles Elzinga of Charlevoix, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie; his parents, Harry Elzinga and Esther Elzinga; and his brothers, Harrison and Gerrit.
He is survived by: his children, Esther, Harrison, Gerrit, Charlie, Chuck Elzinga (Sharon), Carol Karnitz (Paul) and David Elzinga (Dawn); and his grandchildren, Jordan Elzinga (Rebecca), Amber Karnitz, Heidi Karnitz, Adam Elzinga, Hope Smith (Justin) and David C. Elzinga (Adrianna). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Center Point Assembly of God (5291 M-66, Charlevoix, MI 49720). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
