He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert F. Goetzman and Helen C. Goetzman (Hinds); his brother Louis Goetzman; his parents-in-law, Alfred and Ellen Moblo; and his son-in-law William "Billy" Alward.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Jean Goetzman of Charlevoix; and his children, Don Snyder (Evelyn "Evie") of Mancelona, Steven Snyder (Jeanne) of East Jordan, Dulcie Alward of Ellsworth, Sarah Lebedevitch (Bryan) of Palm Springs and Sheila Fevaleaki (Sami) of Tonga. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
