With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James H. Plagens of Charlevoix, Michigan, born in Highland Park, Michigan, who passed away on October 15, 2022 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James H. Plagens to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Plagens and Eva Plagens; his brothers, Gary Plagens and Richard Plagens; and his siblings-in-law, Margret Plagens, June and Jim Owen (Bo).

He is survived by : his spouse Sandy Plagens (Owen); and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Plagens (Michele), Dr. Greg Plagens (Vikki), Sandy Siler (Matt) and Eva Siler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Bergman Center in Charlevoix, the Rayder's Den in Charlevoix, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
