John Earl Haggard Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Earl Haggard Sr. (Charlevoix, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George O. Haggard Sr. and Pauline V. Haggard Shadko (Kolar); his stepfather Gregory A. Shadko; his son Ronald Haggard; his granddaughter Marlene Evans; his brothers, George O. Haggard, Sr. and James Haggard; and his stepbrother Warren J. Shadko.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Haggard of Charlevoix; his children, Marylea "Betsy" Svanda (Todd) of Portland, Michigan, Barbara Haggard of Charlevoix Michigan and John Earl Haggard Jr. of Charlevoix Michigan; and his brother William J. Haggard (Laurie) of Charlevoix. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
