We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2023, at the age of 85, John Slattery of Charlevoix, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William J. Slattery and Madeleine Slattery (Morrow); his former life partner Karen Slattery; and his son Brian Slattery. He is survived by : his former life partner Karen Treewater; his children, Sean Slattery and Colleen Carson (Douglas); his stepchildren, Thomas F. Barnes (Pamela) and Suzanne Balter (Michael); his brother James F. Slattery (Mary Powers); and his grandsons, Patrick Slattery and Gabriel Sam.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School, 1005 Bridge St., Charlevoix, MI 49720.
