With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorraine Arlt of Charlevoix, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lorraine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lorraine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lorraine leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Sak and Elizabeth Sak (Pribel); her husband John "Sonny" Arlt; and her siblings, Lil, Irene, Betsy, Martha and Chuck Sak.
She is survived by: her sons, John Arlt (Michelle) of Grand Rapids and Eric Arlt (Lia) of Charlevoix; her grandsons, Eric Arlt Jr., John Arlt Jr. (Hailey) and Beau Arlt (Rebecca); and her brother Jerry Sak.
