Michael leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Michael’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Michael will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Lavigne and Marie Lavigne (LaPlae).

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (1003 Bridge St, Charlevoix, MI 49720). A rosary will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School, 1003 Bridge St., Charlevoix, MI 49720.
