She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Dowell and Ruth Dowell (Prindle); and her sisters, Phyllis Spillane, Nancy Crouter, Barbara Hilden and Beverly Dowell.

She is survived by : her husband Donald Alan Binns; and her children, Steven Binns (Theresa) of Longmont, CO, Lisa Emerick (Michael) of Troy, Donna Gordon (James) of Commerce and Keith Binns (Sue) of Hickory, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nephews and nieces.
