It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Shapton (Charlevoix, Michigan), who passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Patricia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernell Chapman and Helen Chapman (Phebus); her siblings, Rita Chapman Faiver and William Chapman (Bill); and her daughter Heather Shapton Berner.
She is survived by: her husband William Robert Shapton of Holt; and her son Wil Shapton of Charlevoix. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters.
