He was predeceased by: his parents, F. James Donnelly and Herberta Donnelly (Bettesworth); his siblings, Dennis Donnelly, David Donnelly (Yvonne), Linda Gontko, Cary Donnelly, Diane Bollman and Tim Donnelly; and his siblings-in-law, Jill, Dan Revette and Tommy Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Frank; his children, Mike Donnelly (Shelley) and Mary Lang (Dave); his grandchildren, Caitlin Busscher (Stephen), Allison Logan (Jonathan), Kristin Donnelly, Lexi Lang, Connor Lang and Cameron Lang (Mikayla); his great grandchildren, Declan, Kodi Busscher, Evelyn and Oakley Logan; his siblings, Nancy Malovey, Karen LaMoria, Brian Donnelly (Mary), Suellen Bartel, Tom Donnelly (Wendy) and Jeff Donnelly (Kelli); and his siblings-in-law, Larry Gontko, Jim Bollman, Angie Donnelly, Ron Frank (Sue), Linda Schauman (Keith), Betsy Schoonover (Bob) and Jack Frank (Bev). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 8:45 PM at the Mortensen Funeral Homes (209 State St, Charlevoix, MI 49720). A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (1005 Bridge St, Charlevoix, MI 49720).
