With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Lee John of Charlevoix, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Lou John and William Shananaquet, Sr. (Mary); his brothers, William "Big Will" Shananaquet, Jr. and Kenny Kewagshkem; and his granddaughter Reinalda Marie Plata.
He is survived by: his children, Raelee John (Nebin) of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Britteny Chesebro (Tylee) of Lansing, MI, Ronald Levi John, Jr. (Kyla), Mayan Bisk of Milwaukee, WI and Justine Marie John of Grand Rapids, MI; and his siblings, Anna Smith (Gary) of Charlevoix, James Austin, Richard Willigham of Kingford, TN, Billi Jo Russell (David) of East Jordan, John Austin of Grand Rapids, Tami Spraque of Grand Rapids, Marcia Force (Darrin) of Grandville, MI, Bret Shomin of Grand Rapids and Shannon Shananaquet of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many, many cousins.
