She was predeceased by : her parents, Leon Crandall and Betty Jane Crandall (Hatlem); her husband Joseph Bender; her brothers, Tom Crandall and Theodore 'Ted Crandall; and her brothers-in-law, Jerry Bender and James Bender (Jimmy).

She is survived by : her children, Wendy LaBonte (John) of Leelanau County, Melissa Bender (Tim Schut), Gretchen Bender and Joseph Bender (Amy) of East Jordan; her nephew Marc Bender; her grandchildren, Kayla, KayCee (Gordon), Timmy, Elle, Jordyn (Jared), Noah, Izic (Angela), Chloe, Natalee and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Jocelyn, Leonardo, Edison, Elijah, Everly and Baylee; and her siblings, Timothy Crandall and Linda Crandall.

She touched the lives of so many people, always offering a helping hand, a donation, free food, anything she could to help those in need.
