He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Rainey and Yvonne Rainey (DeFrees); and his brother Jim Rainey. He is survived by: his wife Susan K. Ewing; his children, Aimee Vanderark (Brian) of Ellsworth, Donavan Rainey (Tina Sayles) of Vanderbilt, MI and Aaron Rainey (Jamie Rock) of Ellsworth; and his sisters, Lynn Koger (Bob) of Ohio and Cathy Rainey. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
