He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Coen and Gladys "Dolly" Coen (Pech); his parents-in-law, Clarence and Lucille Himebauch; and his siblings-in-law, Norman Starr and Emily Stanek.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Coen (Rachel) of Charlevoix and Kevin Coen of Charlevoix; his grandchildren, Maddi, Easton and Macy; his brothers, Dave Coen (Sue) of Charlevoix and Jeff Coen (Pam) of Ellsworth; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Starr, Gordon Himebauch (Marcia), Nate Himebauch (Neva), Dan Himebauch (Sara), Jerry Himebauch (Donna) and Dale Himebauch (Joan, family: Green). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his work family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charlevoix Community Reformed Church, Safe Haven Ministries, or the Charlevoix Rod & Gun Club.
