With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amanda Jean MacDonald (Charlotte, Michigan), who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Noble Henry and Neva Irene Sackett (Bell); her husband Bryce Lee MacDonald; her daughter Nika Lisle Hankins; and her sister Vanya Ackerson.

She is survived by : her children, JoDee Naan Pruden (Tony), Kent Neil MacDonald (Teresa) and Kelly Nona Karamol (Stanley); her grandchildren, Paddy MacDonald (Holley), Heather Youngs (Robert), Gregory Pruden (Courtney), Dallas Hartman (Kelly Jo), Cassandra Hankins, Mark Hankins, Amy Restauri (Mike) and Michael Karamol; her brothers, William Sackett (Christine) and Robert Sackett (Susan); and her sisters-in-law, Kate and Susan MacDonald. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pray Funeral Home (401 W Seminary St, Charlotte, MI 48813). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (10911 W Vermontville Hwy, Vermontville, MI 49096).
