He was predeceased by : his father Oral Hicks; and his stepfather Richard. He is survived by : his mother Thelma Hicks (Parks) of Dimondale; the mother of his child Debbie Hicks of Eaton Rapids; his son Eric Hicks (Katie) of Lansing; his siblings, Brent Hicks (Deb) of Charlotte, Leon Hicks (Judy) of Eaton Rapids, Daniel Hicks (Raquel) of Portage, David Hicks (Kathryn) of East Lansing, Mary Aguirre (Robert) of Ft. Wayne, Debbie Hicks of Lansing, Karen Rawlinson (Kenton) of Holt and Sharon Hicks of Lansing; and his grandchildren, John Hicks, Jaydin Hicks, Jaxson Hicks and Brooke Mangold. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
