He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Moist and Vera Moist (Russell); and his siblings, Bob, Margaret, Bill, Phyllis and Elmo.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Penny Hall (Chris), Tammy Towe (Bill) and Todd Moist (Tanya); his grandchildren, Dustin Detering (Kelly), Cassie Schaeffer (Heath), Josh Moist and Brittany Moist; his great grandchildren, Landon, Hannah, Hazel, Izzadora, Connor, Damion, Ryan and Serina; and his sibling's children, Robert Wayne Moist and Charlene. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pray Funeral Home (401 W Seminary St, Charlotte, MI 48813). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at the Gresham Cemetery (4100 Mulliken Rd, Charlotte, MI 48813).
