He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Smith and Anna Smith; his siblings, Louise Hamilton (Don), Bob Smith (Betty) and Marilyn Fedewa (Dick); his siblings-in-law, Enza Viges, Maurice Dershem, Peter Schrauben, Larry Bradbury, Steve Motz, Mike Motz (Shirley), Gwen Dershem and Mary Bradbury; and his parents-in-law, Herman and Magdalan Motz (Arens).
He is survived by: his wife Camilla "Cam"; his children, Tim Smith (Alice) of Grand Ledge, Tamara Boutwell (Dennis) of Bath, Todd Smith of Delta Township, Troy Smith (Melissa) of Delta Township and Traci Felman (Raul) of Lansing; his grandchildren, Justin (Sarah), Jason, Joshua (Lily), Kyle, Kelsey and Jonathan; his great grandchildren, Kaidan, Cameron, Owen, Camilla, Collins and Charlotte; his sister Pat Carter (Butch); and his sisters-in-law, Isabel Viges and Joanie Schrauben. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
