With sadness, we share the passing of David Patrick Rooney of Charlotte, Michigan. David, born on October 23, 1963, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Philip Rooney; his brother Michael Rooney; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Rooney. He is survived by: his mother Laura Rooney (Wing); his brother Philip Rooney Jr.; his nephews, Jason Rooney and Michael Rooney; his sister-in-law Debra Rooney; and his close friend Kathy Gilding.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home (206 W Lawrence Ave, Charlotte, MI 48813). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Maple Hill Cemetery (801 Tully Brown Dr, Charlotte, MI 48813).
