It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Joan Walling of Charlotte, Michigan, born in Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Castle and Laveina Castle (Sheldon); her husband Richard Walling; her close friend Melvin Gardner; and her half-siblings, Howard Castle Jr., George Castle, Dorthy Maurer and Lelah Allerding.

She is survived by : her children, Edward Castle, Roberta VanNortrick (Roy) and Ermie Walling. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren.
