It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeremy David Race of Charlotte, Michigan, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on July 6, 2022, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Virginia Maggard, Bessie Cole and Jefferson Davis Race Sr.; and his uncle Ronn Engel. He is survived by : his parents, Bonnie Williams (Engel) of Charlotte and Jefferson Davis Race Jr.; his son Cameron Swanson of Lansing; his brothers, Jefferson Davis Race III (Mysi) of Burlington and James Robert Race (Megan) of Charlotte; his niece Petra Crawley (Gage); and his grandfather Robert Engel (Juanita) of Charlotte.

Memorial contributions have been set up with Capital Area Humane Society.
