With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ellen Wolfe (Charlotte, Michigan), born in Nashville, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Shetenhelm and Frances Shetenhelm (Case); her husband Duane Wolfe; and her stepdaughter Deborah Vega. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Janousek of Fowlerville, Judi Lemon (David) of Potterville and Blane White (Deb) of Vermontville; her granddaughter Mardi Minor (Sherman) of Lansing; and her stepchildren, Judy Parish (Richard) of Eaton Rapids, Joyce Good (Rocky) of Kentwood, Daniel Wolfe of Nashville and Brenda Swanson (Steve Palacios) of Charlotte. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home (206 W Lawrence Ave, Charlotte, MI 48813). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Gresham Cemetery (4100 Mulliken Rd, Charlotte, MI 48813).
