He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Johnson and Bessie L. Johnson (Whitaker); his cousin Charlie Johnson; Carol Johnson (Vaag). He is survived by: his children, Eileen Fhaner (Jerry), Janette Miller (Dan), Doug Johnson (Tom Alton), Jim Kirk and John Johnson (Randi); and his grandchildren, Nicole Miller, Heather Miller, Willie Huhn, Ryan Miller (Dani), Allison Williams (Jordon) and Kylie Judd (Skiland). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests The American Diabetes Foundation or Hospice of Michigan for memorial gifts.
