It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Joe Thompson of Charlotte, Michigan, born in Hastings, Michigan, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Willis Thompson and Donna Thompson (Harvey); and his brother Steven Thompson. He is survived by : his children, Jamie Boyd (Jennifer) of Sebring, Tim Thompson (Lyndsey) of Potterville and Patrick Thompson (Heather) of Charlotte; and his siblings, William Thompson of Charlotte, Penny Jacox (Robert) of Texas, Victoria Duncan of Texas and Judy Marten (Dick) of Florida. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Those desiring may make contributions to the family to assist with final expenses.
