The memory of Vern R. Norton (Charlotte, Michigan), who passed away on April 5, 2026 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Norton and Martha Norton; his wife Patricia Shilling; his siblings, Leo, Neil, Bob, Sara, Iva and Dorothy; his half-brother Rolland; and his pet Lucy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Cassel (Pete) of Mecosta, Wendy McHenry (Kurt) of Bellevue and Jackie Pennington (Patrick) of Manitowoc, Wisconsin.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
