With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Maki of Chassell, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Heikkinen and Mayme Heikkinen (Onkalo); her husband Raymond A. Maki; and her siblings, Sigrid, Edsel Heikkinen and Judith Wenberg.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Maki (Anita) of Chassell and Karen McInnis (James) of Chelsea, MI; her grandchildren, Nathaniel, RyLee Kemppainen (Marshall), Kyle, Briah Stromer (Noah), Krista Bixby (Steven) and Katie; her great grandchildren, Everest, Lyliaitta, Levi, Colten, Brynley, Reid and Juliet; and her caregivers, Darcy, Paulette and Judy. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
