It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Wellman of Chatham, Michigan, who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Leppanen and Joan Leppanen (Shorkey); her brother Michael Leppanen; and her nephew Scott Leppanen. She is survived by: her children, Chad Trepczyk (Dawn) of Munising, Jerry Brown II of Skandia and Jamie Brown of Chatham; her grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan, Chelsea, Chad, Michael, Logan, Jamie Jr., Anthony Willard, Kristy and Joy; her sister-in-law Flora Leppanen; and her nephew Greg Leppanen.
