He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, David Yell Jr. (Susan), Ginger Willemsen (Michael) and Daniel Yell (Kelley); his grandchildren, Jenny, Erin, Lena, Mahlon Yell, Shawna Adams (Devin), Cameron Willemsen, Everet, Everey Yell, Elizabeth, Madilyn Yell and Wyatt Adams; and his siblings, Diane Griffith of Ringgold, Georgia., Charles Yell of Ringgold, Georgia., Linda Stover of Ringgold, Georgia. and Joy Elliot of Ringgold, Georgia..
