The memory of Donald Horrocks of Cheboygan, Michigan, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; the mother of his children Linda; and his parents, Norris and Helen. He is survived by: his children, Alisa Thewes (Jeffrey), Matthew Horrocks (Amy) and Mary Horrocks; his grandchildren, Jacob Wollangur (Allie), Madeline Thewes, Jeffrey Thewes, Lila Thewes, Justin Horrocks, Lucy Thewes, Emily Horrocks, Max Thewes, Alex and Erica Clymer; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Finnegan Wollangur; and his brothers, Norris (Shirley), Ronald (Jean) and Timothy Horrocks (Torry).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church of Onaway (20811 Washington St, Onaway, MI 49765).
In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a charitable donation should consider the Cheboygan County Veterans Affairs or the Cheboygan County Youth Livestock Program.
