He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Bud" Spray and Dorothy Spray (Leask); his father-in-law Sherrill Hodson; and his brother-in-law Peter Tryban. He is survived by: his wife Linda Spray (Hodson) of Cheboygan; his sons, Jonathon Spray (Jessica) of Queen Creek, AZ and James Spray of Redford, MI; his grandchildren, Kadence and Cora of Queen Creek, AZ.; his siblings, Denny Tryban of Cheboygan, Toni Havlena (Dennis) of Cheboygan, Michael Spray (Rita) of Cheboygan, Richard Spray (Lori) of Cheboygan, Teri McGinn (Tom) of White Lake, MI and Ted Spray (Wendy); his mother-in-law Mary K Hodson; and his sisters-in-law, Kathie Hodson of Cheboygan and Jane Hodson of Cheboygan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (531 E Lincoln Ave, Cheboygan, MI 49721).
