He is survived by: his wife Tina Merchant; his children, Penny St (Will) and Joe Shampine (Christy) of Cheboygan; his grandchildren, Mindy Nikolovski (Goran), Trisha Woodgate Cripps (Delos), Darin Woodgate, Salena Schramm (Tod), Ethan Shampine, Brady Shampine and Peyton Shampine; his great grandchildren, Mirra Cripps and Kai Nikolovski; his sisters, Rosemary Tracy of Cheboygan, Linda Johnson (Dan) of Cheboygan, Chrissy Sutterley (Tony) of Cheboygan and Phyllis Brandt (Dave) of Cheboygan; and his siblings-in-law, Tami Morrow, Ron Griggs, Todd Merchant (Donna), Tony Merchant (Cheryl) and Troy Merchant (Bridget). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
