He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Weiss and Genevieve Weiss (Bur); his wife Florence Lind; his son James "Jay-Jay" Weiss, Jr.; and his siblings, Raymond, Ronald, Theresa Pratt and Agnes Blaskowski.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Enos (Randy), Kevin Weiss (Laurie) and Lisa Weiss; his grandchildren, Dean Enos, Duane Enos (Lisa), Crystal Enos, Kathryn "Katie" Weiss, James "Jay" Weiss III, Jacob Weiss, Kayla Weiss (Jorrie) and Kristina Schoenith (Mike); and his siblings, Margeret Beethem, Anna "Ann" Weiss, Charles Weiss (Carol), Cecilia "Cele" Makowski, Fred Weiss (Evelyn), Rita Bur (Bill) and Edward Weiss (Laura). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made on Jim's behalf to Bishop Baraga Catholic School or Hospice.
