She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. Grimske and Elfrieda Grimske (Haut); her husband Leo C. Johnson Jr.; her children, Randy Johnson and Marty Johnson; her brother Frank Grimske; her sister-in-law Lois Grimske; her granddaughter Heather Williams; and her aunt Elsie "Aunt Sug" Haut.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Johnson (Patti), Teri Provorse (Jerry) and Linda Householder (Paul); her grandchildren, Wendy Biety (Matt), Randy Johnson Jr. (Carolyn), Bill Johnson (Kelli), Mike Johnson (Andrea), Cheryl Argento (John), Audrey Pighini (Steve), Jayme Robinson, Justyn Kyle and Nate Householder (Alissa); and her daughters-in-law, Margaret Johnson and Venita Johnson. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Lutheran Church (332 N Western Ave, Cheboygan, MI 49721).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Thomas Lutheran Church or St. Thomas Lutheran Church Together Lifting Children.
