We announce the death of Carol A. Kvarnberg of Chelsea, Michigan, who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 87. Carol will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Adolf" Dahlquist and Mae Dahlquist (Conklin); her husband Don; and her in-laws, Gus and Olga Kvarnberg.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Kvarnberg (Paula), Chris Kvarnberg (Patrick Powers) of Kalamazoo, Cindy Mitchell (John) of Chelsea and David Kvarnberg (Julie Sanfilippo) of Forest Park, IL; her grandchildren, Haley, Erik Kvarnberg, Eretia Schultz (Devin Davis), Paige Carpenter (Brad), Jacob Ortega-Schultz (Elisa), Wesley Mitchell (Erin Vincek), Mason Mitchell, AJ Mitchell (Addie McCarthy) and Sophie Mitchell (Joey Kinjorski); her great grandchildren, Eli Warner, Leo, Aubrie Carpenter, Nehemiah and Seth Ortega-Schultz; her brother Ronald Dahlquist; her siblings-in-law, Grace Reishus (Kurt Molholm) and Lee Kvarnberg (Maria Elena); and her nieces and nephews, Barb Whitney (Matt), Bill Dahlquist (Stephanie), Ingrid Bowers (Brian), Kiersten Zweibaum (Alberto Ferrer) and Daniel Kvarnberg (Elyse Julian).
