With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David B. Murphy of Chelsea, Michigan, who passed away on August 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wenton Murphy and Esther Murphy (Mackey); his children, Matthew Murphy, Michael Murphy and Kellene Murphy; and his sister Rosemary Walsh.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Eder (Bradbury); his children, Jacqueline Yates (Stanley) of Grass Lake, David Jr. Murphy (Sheila) of West Branch, Tim Eder (Mary Jane) of Chelsea, Jeff Eder (LouAnn) of Chelsea and Rick Eder (Kim) of Manchester; and his grandchildren, Robin, Joshua, Paul, Jeremy, Haley, Gwendolyn, Corynne, Benjamin, Sarah, Ryan, Patrick and Stanley Jr.. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
