He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Leo and Thelma Louise Diemer (Hartnett); and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Allen; his sons, Matthew (Jennifer) of Okemos, Timothy (Molly) of Bloomfield Twp and Patrick (Angela) of Climax; and his grandchildren, Isaac, Eleanor, Henry, Oliver, Jackson, Brady and Elijah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
