He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward John and Kathryn P. Kipfmiller (Cole); and his siblings, Edward Kipfmiller, Ruth McKernan and Betty Hammond.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Kipfmiller (Nommensen); his sons, John E. Kipfmiller (Holly) of Dexter and Mark S. Kipfmiller (Sonya) of Grass Lake; and his grandchildren, Tylor Kipfmiller (Jessica), Brittany Meyer (Jon), Steven Kipfmiller, John Grover (Claire) and Ben Grover. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
