She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Oliver and Franny Ellen McCowan (Bunch); her husband Donald O'Brien; her daughters, Wanda Peles and Shirley Farris; and her grandson Perry Wayne Farris.
She is survived by: her daughter Frances Barton (Richard) of Chelsea; her son-in-law Jerry Peles of Dundee; and her grandchildren, Chestina Bomia, Carrie Mosurak (George), Chanel Proffitt, Conrad Peles, Shelly Ottoman (Lance), Dreamala Hicks (Tony) and Autumn Koch. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and more than 40 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (4030 Kalmbach Rd, Chelsea, MI 48118). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
