Sarah Boelter wrote a sympathy message

“Jim Maxwell was a good priest and a kind and compassionate man. Every time I came to a Diocesan function, he would be there to say hello and to ask me how my ministry was going. He always made me feel welcome. I'm retired now, so I don't get to a lot of Diocesan activities, but I will always be grateful to Jim and remember him fondly. I am keeping Pat and all of Jim's family in my prayers. The Rev. Sally Boelter”

Manisha Dostert wrote a sympathy message

“I loved Father Jim. He was my hero. He always modeled for me how to be a kind, generous, Gospel-centered priest. I think of him every single time I work with SOS and Lighthouse. I am who I am because of his and Father Jonathan Sam's mentoring. With much love for Mardi and the family, Manisha Dostert”
