He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Geoffrey Esty and Valerie Esty (Wrightmyer); and his wife Gail Disbrow Hartman. He is survived by: his sons, David Esty (Michele) of Blissfield and Geoffery Arthur Esty of Ann Arbor; his grandsons, Kyle Esty (Mickey), Derek Esty and Andrew Esty (Alexandra); his great grandchild Oliver Esty; and his brother Jon Esty (Rosemary).
