He was predeceased by: his parent Dianne Thornton (Hackett); and his brother John Orefice. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Orefice (Lowery); his daughter Emily Rebecca Orefice (Brad Scott) of Howard City, Michigan; his pets, Cricket and Oreo; his siblings, Annmarie Orefice-Wajdowicz (Mark) of Belleville, Jerome Orefice (Barb) of Glennie and Catherine Rimanoci (Les) of Wayne, Michigan; and his sister-in-law Diane Orefice. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the American Legion Post #231 (37060 Huron River Dr, New Boston, MI 48164).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an animal shelter of the donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family.
