She was predeceased by : her parents, Gaylord J. Waun and Mildred Amy Waun (Haan); and her husband Gary Koch. She is survived by : her children, Todd Hamel of Chelsea, Robert Hamel of Chelsea and Laurie Schiller (Troy) of Chelsea; her stepchildren, Kevin Koch (Sharon) of Ann Arbor, Jason Koch, Jennifer Groves (Doug) of Grass Lake and Julie Holtz (Riley) of Adrian; her grandchildren, Kyle, Cody, Chad Schiller, Nicholas Baltzell, Lorelai Houk, Ryan, Alyssa Groves, Emmalee Koch and William Holtz; and her sister Diane Dillard.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cole Funeral Chapel (214 E Middle St, Chelsea, MI 48118). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (3050 S Fletcher Rd, Chelsea, MI 48118).

Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
