He is survived by: his wife Mary Cavanaugh (Elsey); his children, Carrie Zeitz of Dansville, Jeremiah "Jay" Cavanaugh (Swanna) of Bunkerhill and Sarah Minnis (Dan) of Dansville; his stepchildren, Nancy Gallinger (Jonathon) of Virginia, John Paul Burns (Danielle) of Commerce and Jeff Burns (Jennifer) of Hartland; his sisters, Peggy Eppinger of Grand Blanc and Collen Eukel of North Dakota; and his sister-in-law Donna Cavanaugh of Florida. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
