She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Tierney and Luella E. Tierney (Turner); her husband Edward Chappel; her sister Sue Reed; and her son Eric Chappel.
She is survived by: her children, Lianne Mehmed (Nariman) of Brighton and Edward Chappel (Julie) of Stockbridge; her daughter-in-law Kathy Chappel of Murietta, California; her siblings, Timothy Tierney of Leonard, Alice Monroe of Glade Park and Gail Myer (Steve) of McHenry, Illinois; her grandchildren, Nathan Mahmed, Stephanie Mahmed-Bialowicz (Jon), Lindsay Chappel, Aaron Chappel (Kiersten), Oni Senior (Joshua), Rhiannon Chappel, Eric Chappel, Jr., Ethan Chappel and Tierney Chappel; and her great grandchild Grizzley Senior. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cole Funeral Chapel (214 E Middle St, Chelsea, MI 48118). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Colfax Cemetery.
