It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Stephen Gorton of Chelsea, Michigan, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Paul departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Paul may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Paul leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gray Merriam and Electra Jane Gorton (Easton). He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Wickey; his daughters, Libby Trubac (Chris) of Holt and Allison Gorton (Charlie Miller) of Ypsilanti; his brother Glenn Gorton (Kathy) of Dexter; and his grandson Jack Trubac. He is also survived by five nieces; two nephews; three great-nieces, and several cousins.
