It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Regenia Compere in Chelsea, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Dale and Beulah Mitchell (Pierce); her husbands, Newton Lee Compere and Robert Schlesinger; her sister Norma Miller; and her nieces, Terri and Cindy Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Robert and Carole; her son-in-law Jon Ryburg of Dexter; her son Keith Schlesinger of Philomath, Oregon; her sister Shirley Martin; and her sibling's children, Gale Martin, Nikki Martin of California City, CA and Gary Martin (Toni) of Garden City.
She never caught COVID-19 and remained remarkably healthy throughout her life.
