He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Edward and Cecilia Theresa Chrapek (Rand); and his siblings, Tim Kusiak, Bill Kusiak and Mary Joe Kusiak.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra V. Peiffer; his daughters, Dawn Marcus (Larry) of Dexter, Susan Williams (Russell) of Alto and Colleen Vanderhoff (David) of Sterling Heights; and his sister Rosemary Tellor. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and eight nieces and nephews.
