Thea will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Thea by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Thea is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Thea’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Theo Bascue and Audrey Bascue (Duncan); her significant other Nancy Shanley; her children, Frank Shanley (MaKenna Krieger) of Lansing and Selena Shanley of Lincoln Park; and her sister Kay Bernert (Tim) of Elsmere, KY. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Huron Valley Humane Society.
