She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Nixon and Helen Nixon (Utter); her husband Richard Gasper; her sons-in-law, Michael Sherry and Kerry Kerr; and her brothers, Robert Nixon (Iris) and Gary Nixon (Fauna).
She is survived by: her children, Richard Gasper, Kathy Sherry and Dona Kerr; her grandchildren, Aaron Sherry (Brenda), Dominick Sherry, Amanda Kerr and Morgan Griffin (Jeremiah); her great grandchildren, Kian Christell, Maci Griffin, Gabriel Griffin, Guinevere Sherry and Malcom Sherry; her sisters, Sally Gotham and Janice Shepard (David); and her sisters-in-law, Marlene Gasper and Rosie Gasper.
