He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Sloan and Marjorie Sloan (Jones); his brothers, Ronnie and Charles; and his nephew Danny Sloan.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Sloan; his children, Mickie Ellison (Bruce), Dean Sloan (Darlene), Kathleen Kane, Patti Civille and Chris Sloan (Shawn); his grandchildren, Zach, Justin, Jason, Alyssa, Jennah, Michael, Matthew, Tamisha and Chad; and his siblings, Marty Sloan (Robin), Alice Wilcox (Joe) and Fred Sloan. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to the Saginaw County Fair, in honor of Francis.
